Let’s Make Leather Paper! 

This fun and engaging session is perfect for artists and crafters of all levels who want to experiment with exciting new surface design techniques.

PREREGISTRATION REQUIRED 

Materials Fee: $25 (Members) / $35 (Non Members)

Fee includes: Markers, sponges, paint brushes, spray bottles, Chip board, white tissue paper, brown wrapping paper, baby/ castor oil, Brown & Tan leather acrylic paint, modge podge,  & use of tools: leather punch tools, heat guns, & scissors.

Supplies you provide:

  • Apron (Don’t forget to wear yours!)
  • Gloves

Important Notes:

  • This workshop is a hands-on activity. You may get messy, so be sure to wear your apron!
  • All other materials will be covered in the materials fee.

Come ready to learn, create, and share ideas with fellow surface design enthusiasts.

SPMA’s last stand: Pink Floyd The Wall & Hits from Dark Side of The Moon & More! March 20, 2026 at The Auditorium at CLARA.

Friday March 20, 2026. 7pm showtime, 6:30pm doors.

“Pink Floyd. The Wall. (1979) Presented in its entirety for the 1st set. The second set will be a surprise! Comprised of Pink Floyd Hits from “DSOTM” and from “Wish You Were Here”

Director Benjamin J McClara has transcribed, scored and arranged Pink Floyd’s The Wall and other Pink Floyd hits especially for this show and for our Rock Orchestra. Guest Singers will attend, as well as backing vocalists Melissa and Rick Fulkerson and more. We will have our small orchestra of about 9 of Sacramento’s finest professional musicians who have been so kind and supportive to perform alongside our student musicians.

Live Video Show & Graphics! And We’re working on a surround sound system for this show! Come support and see SPMA’s Guitar Project and Rock Orchestra’s last stand.

Sacramento Preparatory Music Academy will lose it’s lease at CLARA Studio’s for the Performing Arts at the end of March 2026; Executive Director & the Board of Directors at CLARA, have decided that they do not want to renew our extend Sac Prep’s lease.

So this is our last show… for now… We do not know what the next chapter holds. But we do know that this will be an epic night of music that you won’t want to miss.”
