CLARA is a small nonprofit with big dreams about how we support Sacramento’s creative economy. We are currently hiring for summer camp teaching artists & a site supervisor for our auditorium.

CLARA’s Performing Arts Summer Camp introduces kids to a wide array of dance, music, theater, and visual arts in a fun, interactive, challenging, and inclusive format. We seek qualified teaching artists who want to contribute to the future of our arts communities by inspiring local youth. As CLARA is constantly looking to expand and diversify its network of artists, Summer Camp is a great way to join the pool of teaching artists we consider for year-round opportunities.

Pay rate is $50/hour for teaching time. There are six camp sessions from June 20-August 12, 2022:

  • Session 1 (students ages 11-18): June 20-July 1
  • Session 2 (students ages 6-10): July 18-22
  • Session 3 (students ages 6-10): July 25-29
  • Session 4 (students ages 6-10): August 1-5
  • Session 5 (students ages 6-10): August 8-12

Please email your resume session availability to Emili Danz, Education Outreach Director, at [email protected].
