TwoPoint4 Dance Theater welcomes you to join us for an evening of dance and exploration as we kick off our 9th season opening with 1 Million Connections Per Second.
Four works will be presented as well as a viewing of our recently produced dance film EMPOWHER choreographed by Emilee Mercado and Ashley Celaya. Los Angeles based choreographer Amy Kubat explores the body’s somatic experience in response to the brains neurons and connection. Sacramento resident choreographer Dacia Biletnikoff finds how humans express varying degrees of multiple personalities using her rhythmic and athletic movement – highlighting her distinct artistic voice. Tony Nguyen, Artistic Director of TwoPoint4, delves into an excerpt discovering our many first experiences in life. Finally, company dancer William McCray brings an energetic blend of African, hip-hop, and contemporary movement in a piece that will make you sweat.

COVID Considerations: All audience members will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative testing within 72 hours of the performance. Performers will be wearing mask during the performance as they will be within 6 feet of audience members from time to time.
