VISIT CLARA

We look forward to having you join us at CLARA! This page includes much of the information you need in order to plan your trip. If you don’t see a question which should be here, drop a line to hello@claramidtown.org

CLARA (E. Claire Raley Studios for the Performing Arts) is located in the former Fremont School, with the main entrance at 2420 N St in Midtown Sacramento. The Auditorium at CLARA has a separate entrance, on 24th St near O Street.

WHERE AM I GOING?

CLARA is a 47,000 square foot building, taking up an entire city block. We invite you to take a look at our directory, below, to find the location of the group you’re visiting. (Psst…looking for Seasons Coffee? Enter through the blue double doors and take an immediate right.)

parking

CLARA is lucky to have plentiful parking! The main entrance to the parking lot is on N and 25th street. Parking is free (for the most part), but CLARA’s lot enforces paid parking Fri through Sun evenings (after 6pm). If you are visiting on a weekend evening, the lot has signage with QR codes to pay for parking.

Are CLARA and the CLARA Auditorium ADA-accessible?

Yes. Reserved parking for cars with disabled placards is available in the west side of the lot, immediately next to the Auditorium and in front of the entrance to Sacramento Ballet.

People using wheelchairs and attending events in the Auditorium should just enter the building through the parking-lot level doors, which will take you immediately into the event space.

The Sacramento Ballet entrance is official ADA entrance to the building and the most easily-accessible path of travel for someone using a wheelchair, but if you are planning to go to the second floor, you may wish to park in the Courtyard and use the interior courtyard ramp to enter the building, right next to the building’s elevator. There is also a small ramp to navigate the doors closest to Studio 245.

Accessible toilets are available on the first floor of the building, near the elevator and across the hall from Seasons Coffee.
