ARTS EDUCATION

CLARA believes that the arts enrich lives, and access to quality arts education has the potential to transform a child’s future. We are proud to provide arts access to more than 50,000 Sacramento-region elementary students each year.

In the 25-26 school year, CLARA’s school-based programs brought professional teaching artists into more than 400 classrooms across the region — making meaningful performing arts experiences part of students’ everyday education. Our programs meet students where they are, with opportunities to explore creativity, build confidence, strengthen connections, and experience the arts as a way of understanding themselves and the world around them.

CLARA proudly offers in-school and digital teaching artist residencies, professional development, and summer camp programs to the greater Sacramento County region.
