About

The Brazilian Center (Cultural Exchange of America: Brazilian Center) is a grassroots nonprofit 501(c)3 organization which seeks to strengthen our community by celebrating Brazilian Culture and promoting a spirit of volunteerism. The Center is home to the popular Mistura Brasiliera Dance Company, host of Sacramento’s annual CARNAVAL party, as well as the location of culturally-inspired classes for all ages and abilities. With SCUSD

As part of CLARA’s partnership with Sacramento City Unified School District, the Brazilian Center provides Capoiera classes to the Special Day students at Hollywood Park Elementary School, Samba classes to the third grade students, and provides drumming and samba classes to the CLARA Performing Arts Summer Camp.
